What's on YOUR plate?
I just reserved my personalized plate with the DMV. I'll be forking over the $35+ annually for a Redskins plate that reads: "GO26GO".
I haven't purchased it yet, because they allow you to reserve a plate for 90 days before buying it. I wanted to let Portis get through the preseason unscathed before I bought it. Didn't want to inadvertently jinx the guy! Anybody else got personalized Redskins plates? I noticed that "WARPTH" and "WRPATH" are both taken. BASTARDS! |

I've got "SCNSFN" - somebody got the 'k' variation - and my girlfriend has "LAVAR" - somebody tried to buy those from us at camp last year. I was on the list 2 years ago before they came out - someone still beat me to "SKNSFN". They had to get 350 paid orders before DMV would make them.

A friend of mine signed up for them the day that you could "pre-register" for them, as part of DMV trying to get the original 350 paid.
She got a great one... very simply, it says "SK1NS". I have standard VA plates and doubt I'll get the Skins one. Mine say "FNDR GTR", which is of course short for Fender Guitars. Back in my Grateful Dead/Phish touring days, I used to have VA Cheapeake Bay plates that said "HOMGRWN".

Unfortunately out of staters' can't get the Skins plates or I'd already have mine. When I was stationed in Norfolk from 82 thru 8 I had Va plates:
FMF SSO (Fleet Marine Force Special Security Office) and vice versa SSO FMF. I loved being in Skins country!!!! Home is Tucson though!!!

I think that out of state football teams should be illegal. I saw a Miami Dolphins tag in VA and I don't really dislike the Dolphins, but a got a sudden urge to ram their car!

Tag, I'm it!
I don't have personalized tags. Our van has a Jamestown ship symbol and numbers. The car has regular pre-assigned VA numbers.

With this being CA, the PC croud have taken over and withdrawn SKINS and variations thereof on the grounds that it is racist.
