RIP Max McGee
For those of you who don't know the history of the game... he scored the VERY FIRST touch down in a Super Bowl:

Re: RIP Max McGee
What I want to know is...what in the F is a 75 year old man doing on his roof?!?!? he's got to have grandkids for that?
And you learn something new everyday: "After his playing days, he became a Packers radio broadcaster, co-founded the Chi-Chi's chain of Mexican restaurants and founded a diabetes research center." You got to love a Chi-Chi's.

Re: RIP Max McGee
Yeah, the night before SB I, he broke curfew and partied, telling the guy he eventually replaced to not get hurt because he wasn't in good shape. 2nd Packers drive, receiver dislocates his shoulder, and McGee goes on to have a great game.

Re: RIP Max McGee
Apparently his wife had forbade him from going up there, so he waited till she left. To the end, he did it his way. BTW, one of my best frineds brothers at 47 yr old fell off a ladder cleaning his gutters this summer and died leaving three kids. Can't be too careful up there. J-Dawg.
