For safe measure...
I agree with what was said on NFL network about someones 2's not being better than our 1's....and everything but for safe measure...I think we should be hoping the bears and broncos win next week...what time are those games?...I think I might fly to denver to see that one since..I can't get my hands on skins tickets.

Re: For safe measure...
They were saying our first string should be able to beat second stringers. The only problem w/ that is half our team is actually our second string b/c of injuiries.

Re: For safe measure...
this actually might be the most nerve-racking game of the season... especially with the Redskins and blowing games :frusty:

Listen, we are going to have to come out and kick some ass next week. Plain and simple.

Re: For safe measure...
To me, this is a flashback to 05 when I had a dreadful feeling about Philly. They were awful that year, and we had to beat them to get in. We barely squeaked by with a ST fumble recovery for a TD.

I really like that this game is at home though, I think its alot easier to get that edge, jakked up and get ready to play. I think FedEx will be the craziest it has ever been to get our guys jakked up...and lets be honest, yeah you should always be jakked to play football, but when their starters know what they are playing for in two weeks, they really arent going to care all that much about this game. Set the tempo early, I think were ok....but like the rest of us, I'm very nervous.

Re: For safe measure...
You're right, pg86. We do want the Bears and Broncos to win, just to be sure. I have every bit of confidence in the Skins winning at home versus Dallas but crazy things happen every week so I'll take a little help from my friends as well.

Re: For safe measure...
A little different circumstances back in '05 with Philly. Even though they were out of the playoffs they were still a tough team that didn't go down without a fight, as we saw from them yesterday against the Saints. They wanted to play the spoiler against the Skins in '05 and they almost pulled it off.
Dallas on the other hand really has nothing to play for. Wade Phillips can talk all he wants about wanting to win this game, but at the same time he knows he needs to be smart in the way they approach this game. He's got a nice opportunity to let some of his key guys rest up for two weeks. |
