Tommie Harris?

I see you guys are talking about trading for Harris. Is he even on the trading block. I mean I have not heard nor seen anything about him wanting out of Chicago or that they are taking offers. I wish we could get this guy if he is available. I think the only DT better than Harris is Haynesworth. Cerrato states that we looking at acquiring some interior pass rush and Harris fits this bill incredibly. Harris may be the quicker DT since Warren Sapp in his prime days in the NFL today.

Re: Tommie Harris?

This is what I'm wondering!! I have not heard anything about Harris being on the block or something. That is the reason why I made up this thread.

Re: Tommie Harris?

I haven't seen anything suggesting that Tommie Harris is available. It was like hey the Bears signed Briggs, hey you know who else plays for the Bears? Tommie Harris. I wonder if we could trade for him?

And that's how it all started.

To my knowledge Harris is not on the block.

Even if it's unrealistic, I suppose.

I'd love Tommie Harris, Kevin Williams, Osi Umenyiora, Patrick Willis, Marcus Trufant, Andre Johnson, and Carson Palmer.

Re: Tommie Harris?

I'm sorry I should have given more specifics when I brought him up. The Bears and Harris' side have been pretty far apart on a contract extension, and if this contract with Briggs is the standard the Bears are setting then I suspect (with good reason) Harris is going to try to force a trade.

I probably shouldn't have brought it up.

Re: Tommie Harris?

My somewhat offhanded remark didn't really merit a new thread. It will only cause more confusion, so I'm locking this.
