Alex marvez "HOF lacked entertainment value"

This guy is a complete DOUCHEBAG!! What does he want? A-hole players to say look at me, look at me.

FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Hall of Fame ceremony lacks entertainment value

Screw that clown. I watched the ceremony beginning to end and was never bored. After reading the comments people left him on the article hes the only one that feels that way.

The HoF is not an entertainment event, it's an honorary event. If he wants entertainment I would suggest he go see a movie or something.

Idiot!

Could not agree more! You beat me to the comment.

I have watched several HOF events over the years, and this was no less "entertaining" than any of those. I also left this years event feeling as if this was one of the "classiest" classes of inductees in recent memory.

Everyone has their opinion, but this guy is not accurate in his thinking.

Re: Alex marvez "HOF lacked entertainment value"

I will admit the HOF speeches aren't the most exciting thing to watch. It's usually the same thing every year. Thanks God, good lord seems to have a plan, family, friends, and the fans, a few anecdotes here and there, shake hands, stand next to the bust. I mean I enjoyed hearing Darrell Green refer to us as not only the most loyal but one of the smartest fanbases in the country (guess he doesn't look at ES), but besides that the actual induction ceremony didn't do much for me.

However implying that this HOF ceremony was boring because there wasn't a QB inducted or some big name personallity like a Deion is kind of obsurd in my view. I mean if you want entertainment value I guess we could have a competition where HOF inductees have to earn the chance to give a speech american gladiator style but come on.

Keep in mind I'm very happy that two of our favorite players in team history got in at the same time, but for me I just want them to have that honor and for the players it's a big deal to be able to thank people that are important to them. Actually it's kind of a lot of pressure because if you forget to thank someone you're dead .

My point is you should only expect so much for the speech and the ceremony. The main thrill is seeing the guys you rooted for for so long get a chance to be recognized as one of the best to play the game , but expecting anymore then that is expecting to much.

BS article. This guy is a douche. This moron is probably the type of guy who would put a self-promoting a-hole like Cris Carter in the HoF rather than Art Monk.

This HOF enshrinment may have lacked a "big name" but seems the big names can't pack a house like we did. And the big names can't get up a 4minute standing ovation, either. I think I said somewhere, on another thread, I boasted Art's standing O lasted 10 minutes -- well, it seemed like it anyway.

His article is what's boring.

There's always gotta be someone to piss on someone else's parade.

I've never even heard of this guy. Who cares.

This guy = Daseal ?

"Art's speech was very good, DGs seemed to lack substance for me. Glad they're both in the HoF. Both excellent players and men. However, I find most events like this relatively boring, this was no exception."
