Warner named starter in NY

Kurt Warner got named the starter in NY for the Giants. Personally, I like this move ... for us. I think Warner is just a bad quarterback now, and I honestly think he will be out before the end of week 4 as their QB. Good thing we play the Giants week 2.

That rocks.

Mr. Warner, meet Mr. Washington. Mr. Taylor, meet the Dying Duck Pass.

Fearless prediction: Redskins 137, Giants 0.

lol, i love it. you trade all that stuff to get manning and then play a washed up grocery bagger in kurt warner. we all know eli is going to be near, if not better than peytons skill, and he started every game possible. lol, sorry giants fans, ur coach made a bad choice here i think

Those fools got rid of their entire defensive line except Strahan. I hope we run the ball down their throats. Remember 1999 season. 52-21. Skins!

I'm up here in Giant country. These idiotic fans are wishing on a fallen star. Warner lost it and Manning doesn't know where it is. It is the endzone. Their legacy has been big numbers in yardage and very small numbers in the redzone. Different QB same result. I'm happy to see the Giants,Cowboys and Eagles watching, waiting and wishing on a saviour to take their team to the promise land. The difference with the Skins is we have many a leader and a system that will allow a rank and file player to excel at any given time plus we have Clinton Portis.

They didn't draft any strong backs and Coughlin wants to give Dayne and fumbling Tiki the ship which we should sink on September 19. Shockey and Toomer is their offense and I hope oh I hope Shockey plays and Taylor brings the wood. Redskins 34, Giants 7

nah its smart. Warner is just Jevon Kearse fodder for the first game, then see if he has anything left, then they can put Manning in later in the season w/o hurting him and after seeing what Warner's got.

i think starting warner is more of a strategic move... warner is going to be kearse fodder with that O-line... if he plays well, great, keep him in. If not, eli will still be alive to take over. I don't see them going anywhere this year, but i really believe this is more for eli's safety than because of warner's performance.

It's funny how the Redskins have knocked plenty of QB's out of the game, only to have the second string come in and win it for them. I don't think that's going to happen if Lavar, M.Barrow, Washington and Taylor are on the job.
