Redskins vs. Rams predictions

The Rams are a pitiful bunch. I know some are worried about a letdown but I honestly don't think there's much to be concerned about. It's true that the Skins have to approach this game in the same manner as they did the previous 4 but I have no doubt that they will show up ready to rock on Sunday as Zorn seems to do a great job at keeping this team on an even keel, or "medium" as the buzz word seems to be around Redskins Park. The Rams are ranked near the bottom in just about every offensive and defensive category, while the Skins are the exact opposite.

Big day for the Skins, and a bad season keeps getting worse for the Rams.

Redskins 34
Rams 10

PAIN. Lots of it. I would love to see us shellack a team for the first time in a while.

Skins 42, Rams 14.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

Lets see, I attempted to predict week one, and we lost. I consciously decided not to predict the last 4 weeks and we've won. I don't think its Zorn's teachings as much as it is me not predicting. I mean just check the facts.

Therefore, I won't be predicting again, in hopes that Angry will once again predict a thorough thrashing of our team.

You guys do not understand how hard it is to do this with a straight face.

The Redskins will come in over confident and allow the Rams to stay close until the second half. After the second half kickoff, Al Saunders's 700 page playbook will all of a sudden become so clear to the Rams offense that it ignites an explosion of 40+ yard plays and double digit touchdowns. Jason Campbell throws his first 3 interceptions turning the ball over to the Rams new found life; leaving the Washington faithfull with jaws dropped and pride ripped away.

St. Louis 84
Skins 10

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

I think it will be a close game that could come down to overtime, after that...who knows.

I'm looking for a big game out of Ladell Betts

I hope that's a joke...I try to stay "medium" but I think it wont be close at all. I think we win by atleast 17 points. If we were in ST Louis. It might be a little closer.

Redskins 34
Rams 17

St Louis doesn't score a TD until the second half when the game is out of hand.

ARE and Moss combine for atleast 200 yards receiving and Portis & Devin Thomas score a touchdown.

Horton gets another interception.

Carter gets two sacks..

Just wishful thinking...but very possible...ARE is due for a big game and so is Carter.

Well I guess it's broke now. Now I can switch up my predictions after five weeks of saying the same exact thing...although I was right.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

I've been close with scores and right about the W/L all year. Skins win in a brutal game.

Stl-23
DC-27

I don't think these guys are going to lay down. They've got nothing to lose, 2 weeks to prepare and a new coach. They're going to suprise our guys. This won't be the same team it was under Linehan.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

I agree that Zorn won't let them let down, They also seem to adjust fairly quick when things are going wrong, They kind of remind me of the championship Spurs teams when Duncan and co. would never get to high or to low, That's the way to do it.

Re: Redskins vs. Rams predictions

Skins Fans,

What a great start! Last 2 weeks have been incredable. Conversing with the ever shrinking Dallas fan base has been delightful, to say the lease. Philly fans have nothing to say, can you blame them. LOL The Rams are a mess, new coachand have had 2 weeks to prepare and nothing to lose, ...etc blah blah blah all adds up to the Rams continued losing streak.

Skins are the better team and handle business!

Skins 31 - Ram 13

Of course I don't believe this, but in keeping with a 4 week long tradition,
Rams 31-Redskins 13
