Betts sprained knee

How bad is the sprain? Any word? If it's a bad sprain, I'm wondering if we'll see the return of Marcus Mason.

He's on their practice squad. We can sign him to off their practice squad to our 53 man if Betts is out for a while.

Practice squad. We can bring him back if needed.

Sprains can take a while. I sprained my ankle on Monday and I dont think I will be able to run for 2 months!

That replay was painful just to watch - hope it looked worse than it really is.

If Betts is out for any length of time, Rock Cartwright deserves the backup role, not dragging Marcus Mason back here.

I don't see the need to bring Mason back either. Rock has gotten it done before.

Re: Betts sprained knee

LB is an under-rated part of our team. I feel just as good when he is in the game spelling CP as when CP is in. Hope he's alright...but Rock deserves an opportunity to take his special teams prowess to the next level. Let's earn that new contract rock. One thing I feel confident in is our depth at RB. And on the optimism tip the Browns have a short week and we can really gameplan these fools. Plus i'll be there 13 rows from the 50.

He's fumbled 4 times on offense on 178 total touches. That's really not all that bad.

Re: Betts sprained knee

One positive here.
I don't know who said it...either Cambell, Portis or Rock on Redskins TV.
But the quote was this after the philly game.
"We are good enough to beat anyone"

Well....now after the Rams loss they also know...."They can lose to anyone"

That is some humble pie that may benefit them down the road.
