Draft Party
Hello All,
Is anyone going to the draft party? If so I have a proposition. I was planning on making the 5 hour drive down for the party to buy a chunk of the scoreboard but due to an unforeseen issue (my Mother in-law getting 3 stents put in the day before) I won’t be able to make it. So if some would so kind as to pick me up a piece of the scoreboard, I will send down a box with all the packing materials and pre paid postage and enough money for my piece and one for you as well. All you would have to do is seal the box, apply the stamp (included) and drop it in a mailbox. Can some one hook a brother up? |

Re: Draft Party
You can make it from LI to the DC area in 5 hours? How fast do you drive?
Takes me 4.5 hours to get to the Lindenhurst area from south-central PA. Good luck to your mother-in-law, assuming you want her to make it.

Re: Draft Party
lol, as most of us probably have, I have a love/hate relationship with her but I gotta hang for my wife. I have made that trip in as little as 4 hours before with no traffic. You are familiar with Lindenhurst?

Re: Draft Party
No draft party for me....it's an incredible waste of time. I just keep tabs on who is picking and if a TV is around I'll checkout the Redskins' first round selection.

Re: Draft Party
What can I say? I can't stand those "experts" on ESPN, especially that fraud Mel Kiper who can't predict his way out of the #1 over all pick. And don't get me started on those bozos from Scouts Inc.
Plus I'm unmotivated when it comes to this sort of TV...hopefully when my kid is getting drafted I'll be more motivated...and "with the 19th over-all pick the Redskins select saden1 jr from Stanford" has a nice sound to it.

In all seriousness, what does ESPN or Scouts Inc. have to do with a draft party at FedEx?

Re: Draft Party
I agree with SADEN on this one and I just cannot spend a Saturday sitting around watching a draft. If I'm around the house I have a TV out side and will check in from time to time and if I'm out on the boat I'll cut on the radio to see whats going on. Now that I think about it when is that draft?
