North Carolina passes same-sex marriage ban
North Carolina passes same-sex marriage ban, CNN projects - CNN.com
I really hate my home state right about now. Such ignorance here. WRAL.com VoteTracker: 2012 Primary :: WRAL.com Looking at the map, most of the "rural" areas voted in favor of it by a good margin.

Ignorance breeds more ignorance. Congrats to all the morons who have determined they have the right to determine what other people can and cannot do.

Re: North Carolina passes same-sex marriage ban
? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or if you actually disagree with my statement. It should be obvious by now I disagree with all the bible-thumpers wanting to protect the sanctity of marriage and its' 55% divorce rate.

I just thought your statement was funny, my bad wasnt trying to be a dick or anything. I think most of us are the same way though. People are morons or whatever if they impose rules on us and those we agree with. But we all like it when they impose rules on those or for those we disagree with. Maybe we just need less rules.

Re: North Carolina passes same-sex marriage ban
Not sure if your joking but if you look at the def for
sanctity [ˈsæŋktɪtɪ] n pl -ties 1. (Christianity / Ecclesiastical Terms) the condition of being sanctified; holiness 2. anything regarded as sanctified or holy 3. the condition of being inviolable; sacredness the sanctity of marriage [from Old French saincteté, from Latin sanctitās, from sanctus holy] Its one god fearing man married to one god fearing woman in the far rights eyes. They tend to ignore the divorce rate and other problems when they talk about how sacred marriage is. |

Some people of faith have some sense. Here is a pastor and his speech in regards to this amendment.

Re: North Carolina passes same-sex marriage ban
even though i dont agree with it, dont have a problem with the state making the decision over the federal government. Just like if any state wants to make legal gay marriage, thats fine.
