Angry Pollard to Lions

well we missed out on another FA that would have helped us out.
He signed a 3 year deal for 6 million which inludes a 2.3 million dollar signing bonus. Thanks again Coles

Re: Pollard to Lions

I dont think we were even interested. He would have been a good pickup but they never said our staff was looking for a te. Its weird, we cant just assume that we are always going after the highprofile guys anymore, lol. Usually the rumormill has the skins on everyone of the top players, by default.

Re: Pollard to Lions

Pollard is not worth the kind of money he got. Watch what kind of numbers he puts up when doesnt have Peyton throwing to him and teams don't have to gaurd Harrison, Wayne, Stokely, and EJ. No way is Pollard worth 2mil a year plus a 2.3 mil signing bonus. No way in hell. Besides, gimme Chris Cooley.

Re: Pollard to Lions

They have to guard Williams and Rogers who will be a better duo if they keep progressing and Rogers can get HEALTHY!

Re: Pollard to Lions

So are we going to lament over every FA that signs with someone else now?

I doubt Pollard was even on our radar.

Re: Pollard to Lions

I am not saying that there was interest but it seems like we are interested in a blocking TE and he is a good blocking TE. Also I was pissed because thanks to Coles even if we did want to make a run at him we couldn't have.

Re: Pollard to Lions

Who cares about Pollard! The Redskins shoiuld not even be looking at players north of 30 years old. The Skins need players in their early to mid 20's to build around...
