Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

Wednesday night and no pre-game thread again?

Boy we're avoiding next game's like the plague. Not that I blame y'all.

Well... Perhaps there's some light at the end of the tunnel.

Jay Gruden: RGIII had “a little bounce to his step” in return to practice | ProFootballTalk

Anyway, Skins find a way to lose, because... Well. You all already know why.

Skins 20
Titans 24

Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

Dammit Rave! Lol. I just checked about an hour ago, but just couldnt bring myself to start one. I dont think they deserve one but....
Us 42
Them 10
Its only the Titans, but we are taking our aggressions out on them. The fact that we are going to beat them like we beat the Jags says so much about the culture and coaching in DC. I mean - it is apparent to me that these guys can win but they just dont believe it. The preparation and gameplanning and lack of in game adjustments also kills us. However against the jags and titans I just dont think it matters too much. You can throw the Rams in there. Sadly thats about the only three teams imo that our talent is enough to win without the coaches helping us.

Re: Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

At this point I am looking for a reason just to watch game..A little background..I am 55 years old and since 1969 I have watched EVERY REDSKIN GAME ..either on TV,Radio,live..To say I am diehard..well put it this way I have family who think I lost my mind over this team!..for some reason this year has really got to me..Im not sure if its finally my realization that we may be the east coast version of the raiders or what but I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel..heck i can't find the tunnel…My guess is we get beat 28-21 ..why would any redskin fan believe we will win..until RGIII makes a healthy and prolonged comeback ..I just don't see the skins winning ..

I agree, I'm really throwing my hands in the air because everything that could go wrong, has...especially with the injury bug.

I'm perplexed by the front office, for the first time since vinny has left I'm starting to doubt upper management. Also think our scouting department may need a change. Compton, leribust, mo hurt, gettis,...why are these guys not panned out? Coaching, scouting, stupidity?

Guys like Bowen, Chester, and polumbus need to fuckin go now. Fuck them. Why did we keep Santana and not a young guy?

We got Santana and young guys (practice squad if not special teams). you keep Santana for leadership: critical 3rd downs and calming Kirk down by giving him a security blanket. Gruden is not using him correctly. My question is why keep Robinson.

has santana even been active for a game yet?

i do hope they activate him for a final home game.

i have no clue what the skins might do.

we havent given up a kickoff return for a TD yet. i could see us doing that .

So there is something about those gold pants:

If we don't win this one, I'll finally start questioning Gruden's coaching ability. I've been saying all along we're a better team than last year, and if that's true we win this game at home against a 2-4 team who barely beat the Jaguars. No excuses.

I think we win, 27-21. Gruden needs to trust Alfred Morris and give him the ball no less than 25 times. My theory is that Gruden hasn't found out yet that the more you give the ball to #46, the better he gets. This would be a great game to discover that.

I've already started questioning the coaches but you are spot on.
I was critical of Morris' lack of play making ability but if he runs the ball 30+ times he really shines.
If he only gets 13 carries a game he will get you 40-50 yards and not threaten the defense at all.
he isn't going to flip field position with a long run and just doesn't strike fear in the defense.
They need to use him for what he is great at and thats being a battering ram. let him wear down the D and give the ball to the other guys for explosive plays.
