What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
Man typing 2017...time moves doesn't it?
I'm excited for this years' squad...the roster stability long with the coach stability I think we should win the division. We have the opportunity to to advantage of teams rebuilding such as the Eagles and Giants and a clusterfuck of a franchise called the Cowboys...we should be able to win the NFC east I think our defense should be better...our secondary is he strongest talent-wise since..? I think the biggest issue could be stopping the run, but I think our ilb talent could be about to explode. Spaight, Cravens,Compton...what's not to like? Offense it's all about cousins...can he play at the same level and improve? I think our WR and TE talent is bout this championship life. My question is our running game..., who will step up? 9-7 Redskins take the division again but we are a more dangerous team in the playoffs becuase of our experience and the fact we play a harder schedule and will learn to grind. What you got for dem Redskins!?

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
I am more optimistic, 11-5, including a W over the Steelers this Monday night.
I feel with Cousins's makeup the last thing I have to worry about is a regression. He will continue to be protected well enough, be prepared enough, and be accurate enough to get the ball to Reed, Jackson, Crowder and Garçon. I am most excited about all the reports on the play of Preston Smith and Bashaud Breeland, especially Breeland, because a one two punch at CB means stalled drives as Kerrigan and Smith will have the extra beat to get home. And nobody talked about it, but I watched Brandon Scherff closely in the preseason. I saw him get second level consistently. I think Gruden and McVay know what they have there and they'll start running behind him a lot. That's so key, because until now the only side to run when you HAD to get the yards was behind Trent. Now defenses can't key on one side, Scherff is a huge threat. I definitely see a step forward. 11-5!

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
With the schedule this year, we can go 7-9 and be a significantly better team so my expectations aren't in wins and losses
My expectation for this year is we start to play good teams well, and continue to beat average and poor teams. I think we are still a solid year of building competition and depth away from continued strong seasons in the win loss column. |

Not too far off. I still think we are still building solidly up. Our division isn't getting easier. Will be interesting to watch the off season to see what we spend money on or choose not to spend money on. In someways this will be the first year for Scott that is "hard". |

Ten wins. Book it!
We're going to crush our NFC East opponents in head-to-head games. We'll go 5-1 versus the NFC East and 5-5 against our tough out-of-division opponents. We'll repeat as NFC champs and go to the second round of the playoffs.

If we don't win the east its a HUGE HUGE disappointment IMO, there is no excuse baring a big injury.. The eagles and cowboys are starting rookie QBS, the giants have no OL or RB, Eli is old... No excuse.. 11-5 or 10-6

10-6 or 11-5 and a birth in the NFC title game vs. Arizona in the desert

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
The Giants are the only team that worries me. I know we've all seen that song and dance before with FA, but at SOME point it has to work out right? I mean they're the team that has backed into the playoffs twice and won two Super Bowls.
I think Prescott will eventually be fine for the Cowboys, but this year he'll have his hands full against NFL defenses. The Eagles will suck, but their defense will be good. The Giants will only go as far as their FA additions take them. I think we go 9-7 or 10-6 and surprise a few teams and lose a game to a shit team.

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
A lot of start of the season pom poms going on in here. This team still has question marks all over the place. D-line and ILB is a huge question mark. O-line could struggle as well. How will Hall and Burton play? Has Burton ever started in the NFL?
Overall I still see an average football team. It has some good parts and not so good. I'm thinking 7 to 9 wins is where we'll end up. |

Barring key injuries, SB or bust.

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
I think we will show up in every game, and as SM said last year, win or lose the opponents will know they played a hard fought physical game.
Offensive penalties are still my number 1 fear. I think we will continue to see too many drives stalled by untimely holding penalties. As for positions of strength, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that our OL will be a pleasant surprise, in both run and pass blocking. I think they will be an extremely cohesive group and show it every down. Strong running teams will be our weakness, and that doesn't bode well against Dallas . for the fun of predicting: vs Pitt W vs Dall W (think Garrett screws up game management, and our coaching wins the day) @ NYG W (just don't see the Giants as a good team) vs Clev W (RG3 impresses but they are a bad team) @ Balt L (aggravating days at the office follow) vs Phil W (their D will be amazing, their O, not so much) @ Det W (no let down games this year) vs Cinc L (hard to predict but I think Kirk chokes here) vs Minn W (Sam will be hearing boos constantly) vs GB L (media will be all over the loss saying we aren't ready for the playoffs) @ Dall L (Romo or Dak will be feeding Elliot by this point) @ Ari W @Phil W (hard to predict a sweep, but they will be playing for Draft position) vs Car W (we either win at GB or here, but not both) @ Chi W (and clinch division) vs NYG W (and it's with our backups) 12 - 4, 1st round bye, and Seattle at Fedex in the Division round. I love Kool-aid!!! |

Re: What are the expectations for your Washington Redskins 2016-2017 season?
if i was gm i would call out our division rivals. offer a straight up trade for every draft pick.
round for round, every original redskins draft pick for yours. *obviously cannot be picks like the vikings 1st rounder now in possession of the eagles. has to be organic. owners/gms never do this. #nofaith #noballs
