New Madden
I just bought Madden 2006 today and it is so hard. I try to look at my receivers with that vision crap and I have absolutely no time to do it. I get sacked so much and throw a million interceptions and i suck at defense too. I was amazing ot '05....i guess I just have to get used to this one. Right now I suck.

Re: New Madden
I've turned off the vision cones for now. The overall AI is really jacked up this year as it is. I'm going to keep trying the vision cones in practice mode but I agree it's really hard.

Re: New Madden
I just picked it up on my lunch break. Can't wait to play it when I get home. After the Angels vs. Athletics game that is. Go Halos.
I Hope I get some sleep tonight.

Re: New Madden
i was top 500(at a time when there were like 100000 people) in the 05 on xbox and i promise i didn't cheat, i just can't get this one, i have gone 3-1 but 1 win was not really a win. I was playing a dallas fan and he was just playing with me at the end of the game being a d-bag he was trying to get some more points, i encouraged it because i was hoping for a turnover. My wish came true, he rolled out and soon daniels caught up to him, as he did he was forced to throw it and harris picked it off around my 20, i ran it back about 80 yards for the game winning touchdown with the clock at 0.
Otherwise i just learned how to throw the dam ball. I didn't know that you click R then the reciever to lock on the person, i was just wielding that damn cone side to side trying to catch the receivers and hitting air. I haven't tried it in a game yet but i hope it works because i have been running it like a mofo. Gibbs book is really hard and the last game i tried with Mike Tice's book. It worked well because it has nice shotguns and 5 wides meant for speed. To bad i completed only 4 passes that game |

I never played madden on XBOX because I got stupid direcway and it uploads at like 28.8. But when I had a cable modem I played ESPN 2k4 on there and if i played enough games I was usually in the top 10-20 out of 20,000+. I don't know how that'll relate to madden, especially with over 100,000 players, but I'm excited to find out. Its hard to get people I know to sit down and play with me. |

Re: New Madden
i just finished a game with a qb rating of 1.7. I went like 1 for 11 with 1 int for the game. I have like 150 rushing yards though and lost 13 to 7

Re: New Madden
I'm just about to give up on the vision passing.
There's just too much to do to throw a damn pass, it's really frustrating. Seems like they could have made it a little easier somehow. |

Re: New Madden
Its sad my first few games I felt like I was running Steve Spurriers offense with all the sacks I been taking, hard to bust runs out D plugs hole like mad, I'm figuring out that the Slide Blocking thing actually helps managed a 2.5 rushing avg. up from 1.5 Lol could be a long year!
