Safety Dance, part 2
The Redskins have signed third-year safety Siddeeq Shabazz, the team announced on Wednesday. Shabazz takes the roster spot of defensive back Eric Brown, who has been released. Brown had signed with the Redskins on Tuesday.
From redskins.com: Redskins Sign Shabazz, Release E. Brown Wow. Here today, gone tomorrow!

And now on Extremeskins, they're saying Bowen sprained his knee and needs an MRI.
Ack. And Ryan Clark has a sprained knee and is out for a week. Our secondary is very banged up! Hope it's nothing major with Bowen!

They're signing them up and carting/running them off lol. I guess the Texan didn't impress. Still with Stoutmire and Piroleau along with clark, taylor, and bowen and maybe one other guy who can play both FS and SS we should be set to sustain through any injuries that might occur.

Re: Safety Dance, part 2
The injuries are now, not IF they occur. Our entire secondary except for S. Taylor is in the training room.
The reason our defense is good is Williams has very high standards. He will cut someone that is not playing well or even to send a message to everyone else, your job is not a sure thing. Our offense needs to take a page from Williams personnell moves. Shake things up, put fear into their million dollar lifestyles. Last offseason the same thing was said about the LB position, we signed a ton of LB's in the offseason when folks on TWP were screaming for a pass rush DE. Wiliams knows what he needs to win and he feels he needs more depth at Safety. I do not have a problem with him retooling his depth. |
