Timing is everything
I, like my fellow, stout and hearty Redskin brethren endured a calamity of historical proportions. Something akin to the Hindenburg disaster. As palatable as eating the cast-offs from the latest "pay me to vomit" reality TV show. Not as bad as errant thoughts of Star Jones on a nude beach....................but bad!!!!! However, I come before you today (after much web-based psychological intervention during the night) with the following: 1) We will, in all probability, survive (although my psychiatrist, Dr. Seuss had to talk me down off the roof twice). 2) The team will have a RIGOROUS week of practice (The D will ALL be wearing a new Uni "GW's Bitch" 3) If it is true prayer works, a lot of guy's will be up close and personal with lightning bolts from above this week-that Joe, what a prankster. Some Old testament stuff!!
That having been said, to take the high road, a spanking like that may light a fire under their ass. This is a team with pride. A team with a growing confidence. A team building a future. They got their ASS KICKED! Humiliated. Nobody on or associated with the team will take it lightly. If you recall, under Norv Turner, loss's were sometimes a subject of laughter, and joking in the locker room. That made me want to vomit. It may well work to give them a NEEDED wake up call, while there is still time to recover, learn, and profit from the experience. Sometimes the ego needs a theoretic kick in the jewels to bring back sanity. Perhaps we started to believe the media trash!!!!!!!!! A good wakeup call, and hopefully we can unleash all the fury of our embarrassment on the Eagles, and put another nail in their coffin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Timing is everything
Well said, except for the Star Jones analogy. I could have done without that.
