Re: Plexico Burress

Steelers were right to get rid of this bum. Total 'pretender'. Sure am glad Skins didn't end up with him. Great goose egg by the Gmen. Skins 1 of 4 NFC teams left!

Re: Plexico Burress

Along with Shockey - the worst kind of prima donna out there. What a joke Plax is in terms of toughness or football sense!

Gibbs type guy report card for Plax:

Character: C
Toughness: F
Physical Ability: B-
Intelligence: D-

Net grade: Not a redskin.

Re: Plaxico Burress

He's damn talented and can be very explosive. But, his character problems (i.e. whining constantly) make him a mini-T.O.

Re: Plaxico Burress

The big difference is that TO performs at a much higher level than Burress IMO and if I HAD TO (mind you this is like choosing between eating strichnine or rat poison) I would take TO on my team before Burress.

Re: Plaxico Burress

Plexiglass is lame--give me heart over talent any day. As for TO--he got heart, but only for himself.

And everyone laughed when "over the hill" Joe Gibbs stressed character when he came back...

Re: Plaxico Burress

He ran routes as if he was taking a stroll on a nice spring Sunday afternoon. I just couldn't believe how lazy he was running routes.
