Troy Palomalu
Where was this guy on Sunday? I saw him miss about 3 tackles he definately should have made, and he really was rendered completely ineffective. I am glad because I have always said that while he is great at covering ground and has a nose for the ball, he really doesn't tackle well, only to be ripped into by ignorant football fans who like his hair. I just think he's overrated because of the way the Steelers use him. He really is just a good football player on a great defense, not the other way around.
Also, this thread is not about Joey Porter, who people say didn't show up. He showed up, they just weren't running at him much at all, and Walter Jones is tough for anyone to get past. It is far easier to neutralize a LB like Porter than it is a freelancing safety like Palomalu. Troy neutralized himself. |

Re: Troy Palomalu
I am, but that still doesn't excuse him for being out of position and missing tackles. I did think it would hamper his deep coverage a bit, which it did when he let that pussy Stevens in the end zone.

Re: Troy Palomalu
Big mouth Joey Porter was a no-show as well. Hat's off too Holmgren for a great Offensive game plan. Stephens and the refs conspired to give the game to Pitt. This will be a thorn in Seattles collective side all off-season. I wish they had gotten legitimatley wooped or else blown Pitt out. Now they have motivation for next year and I don't like the idea of going to Washington State again for the playoffs.

Re: Troy Palomalu
I think Seasquaks will be mediocre next year, mostly cause of easy division. You make SB appereance and coordinators look at YOUR films half the offseason. NFC east will deff have homefield next yr.

Re: Troy Palomalu
The guy may have had an off game I'm not sure. I only have a quazi-off-topic comment....
Have any of you heard him speak? lol I heard an interview yesterday and to say he is soft spoken will not do justice. His voice is borderline femine. lol But he can bring the WOOD on the field. hahaha He sounded like Micheal Jackson I swear peace mike

I don't know if he looks or sounds more like a bitch, but I do know that he doesn't want to be in the same prison with Sean Taylor looking like that! Yes I am suggesting that Sean Taylor would rape him in jail.

Nah, he looks cool and played well for the most part this year from what I watched.

Re: Troy Palomalu
Sounds like some Polamalu hating going on.
Give the guy some credit. The guy is a ballhawk, makes plays that can change a game, hits hard while only being 5'10 210lbs. Maybe we can give the Seahawks some credit here and say that they gameplanned him very well and did a good job of running plays away from him. Just because he's soft spoken doesn't make him gay or feminine.......he's just a humble guy and I have alot of respect for him. Just my opinion. |
