Culpepper to Miami

Per PFT:
Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that the Minnesota Vikings have traded quarterback Daunte Culpepper to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round selection in the 2006 draft.

The deal is contingent on Culpepper passing a physical.

Looks like the Ramsey race is coming down to just the Jets now that Kitna has signed in Det and Culpepper is in Miami. Hopefully we gte a deal done today.

I believe the Saints are drafting Leinert. I doubt they bring brees in too. Unless they want him to teach Leinert, which I dont think brees will be willing to do that. Plus he's not old, and I am sure he wants to be secure in his starting gig.

I thought Brees had no desire to play for NO. Where the hell does he end up if he can't play for them?

I thought Ramsey was going to Oakland. Was surprised they never showed any interest in him. But maybe they will now.

I was under the impression Brees was supposed to decide between Miami or New Orleans

I had read he didn't want to play in NO but was using them to drive up the price in Miami. Guess that plan didn't work to well. Is Rosenhuaus his agent?

Tom Condon is his agent. I'm not sure who was being used in those negotiations.
