Re: Warrick Holdman

Holdman had some bad games lat year early in the season but it seemed he played much better in the second half of the season. It woul be nice if he could repeat his 2001 season with 143 tackles and 3 forced fumbles and to have numbers like that you have to have talent.

That's his only good year though. It was probably just a fluke.

He didn't play the second half of the season. Dont you remember him bitching and crying about not playing, and refused to talk to the media once he got benched. this dude use to be pretty good LB, and when we signed him I thought is was a good move. But he just doesn't seem to have the desire, the drive. He was getting 1 tackle or two per game. Playing weakside LB you have to be more involved. I say we go w/ Clemons or McCume. Holdman is going to bitch and moan if he doesn't play and create problems amongst our LB core.

Re: Warrick Holdman

He's our weakest link on D last year. Hopefully, last year was his off year. We'll see and hope he returns to his form of 2001.

Actually, if we ended up with only the Fritos it would be a steal!

Re: Warrick Holdman

i don't know how to put this in words. The remaning free agent linebacker crop must really suck if they had to resign him.

Re: Warrick Holdman

I look at this as good news as long as he's cheap, which I imagine he is. Lindsey said he thought HOldman underachieved last year but is capable of playing better. This is just insurance, if clemons can't win the job & a rookie isn't ready (or mccune) yet, we'll play holdman on running downs. OUr d was solid when he started, & it can be again.
I'm still dreaming that lavar will fire the postons & make peace w/danny while resigning w/us, but there's not good odds of that happenin.

Re: Warrick Holdman

Does this mean we should expect a Lloyd extension, or do we wait until after draft, or even after July 1st. I think Holdman was the last remaining RFA or UFA we needed to sign.
