1970 Redskins Question

Im in the process of creating an electric football team of the Lombardi/Austin 1970 'Skins and I was having trouble finding the ethnicity of some players so I figured this would be the place to go. Any help is much appriciated, ive done alot of searching and just cant find pictures of some of these guys.

DE John Hoffman
DT Frank Bosch
DE Bruce Anderson
FS Jim Harris

I have the rest of the starting line up from
1970 redskins - NFL Archives

If there is anything amiss you know of please let me know! Thanks alot!

Re: 1970 Redskins Question

Ray Schoenke was Hawaiian....

Quote:
And a very valuable Hawaiian that is very successful on the East Coast whom I met for the first time, his name is Ray Schoenke. He has a personal commitment to this. He has been traveling on his own with the congressional team. He appeared at Senator Inouye's conference room and again with Hawaiian Caucus at the earlier briefing last week Thursday. Then they were going to met with the community groups. Someone like Ray, who was a candidate for Mayor of Maryland, or was it Governor of Maryland. He is a graduate of Punahou, class of 59. He told me personally that he wants to help. So I believe with that understanding when we look at some campaign entity we would not run into the similar problem we did previously. Because you have someone that is well known. Very successful insurance agent and also a professional football player who knows the D.C. area very very well. That is an important factor to include as we look at this also.

Re: 1970 Redskins Question

I checked my football cards.
Snowden is in the 1968 set but I don't have it.
Others did not make Topps cards as far as I can tell
Good luck

he means where you make miniature football players for an electronic football table. the kind that vibrates them around and such i believe.

its like a tabletop version of madden... sorta. much more social though, like table top wargames (warhammer 40k etc) instead "hey suk this you stoopid n00bie f**".

Re: 1970 Redskins Question

Done

I do have one more question though... The site I got the uniform numbers from lists both RG Paul Laaveg and DT Frank Bosch as wearing #73. Do you guys know which one was actually #73 and what the other guy was??

Thanks

By "Electric Football Team" I think he means its like that lil table top game that you plug in and it vibrates and the players bounce all over and go in circles and such.. he's gonna make the lil guys look like the players of that time i guess. use to have one when I was a kid..

Re: 1970 Redskins Question

The hobby has come along way from the game of the 60's and 70's

This is the company that makes the most stuff Miggle Toys Inc.
There are some other smaller independent people that make stuff too. To see some really nice custom figures go to Footballfigures.com
