greetings from Japan
Hey everyone, you may remember from a recent post of mine that I was considering moving to Japan. Well, I went ahead and did it. Havent really been keeping up on things, but it sounds like we arent having such a great preseason. I talked to my dad and he told me he was revising his 16-0 prediction.
Anyway, if anyone is interested Im keeping a blog. You can check it out at Andy B Japan Photographs. Ill start updating it again once I get internet hooked up in my apt, probably in like 2 weeks. This season when the Skins are playing know that its 3 am on a monday over here, but ya know what, Im watching too! |

Those are some cool photos. That must be quite an experience to live there. You rockin' your Skins gear there?

Re: greetings from Japan
Japan has got to be a very interesting place to visit, but for some reason it's one of the last places I'd want to travel to. Don't know why exactly, maybe just the insanely long plane ride. 5 hours is about my limit before I'm ready to go crazy. Cool blog, really nice pics on there!

Re: greetings from Japan
If you look closely in that Photo of me, you can see that may hat is a Redskins 75th anniversary edition. People have gotten used to me walking around town in a Santana Moss Jersey. Plus, I have a Redskins tote bag that I keep all my papers in and bring to school everyday.
Since Ive become a fan of the local baseball team here, the Hanshin Tigers who are kind of the Chicago Cubs of Japanese baseball, I get drunk people to say in return, Washington DC Redaskins, America Football, numbera one. Then Ill talk about how much I hate the Toyko Giants (which after only 10 days here I genuinely do) and people are like cool. BTW, baseball is freaking CRAZY over here. The Tigers stadium seats around 55 thousand, and is like a college football atmosphere. Every player has their own individual chant, and the place just goes insane after every big play. Im definitely becoming a big fan. |

Re: greetings from Japan
Nice. I remember many years ago my mom came back from a trip to Japan and gave me a Kintetsu Buffalo's hat with some dude's autograph on it. And she was like I met this player he's supposed to be one of the top players, etc. And I thought ok, whatever...a couple of years later Hideo Nomo was playing for the Dodgers tearing up the majors. Kind of a cool souvenir to have

Re: greetings from Japan
Welcome to the Asian side of the world my fellow Skins fan!! Im just north of Seoul and take the train down there every weekend. Im trying to convince my boss to give me some time off to watch the skins games when they are on AFN (Armed Forces Network) and go into my work time, he is an Eagles so we will see. I am 13 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone. I would love to trade places with you and be in Japan, the women are pretty hot there. When i go back to the US i am going to stop in the Phillipines, Japan and then to Hawaii, hopefully i will be able to stay a couple days at each location. Im excited to go to these place too bad it will be May before i can go....

I'm going to tokyo for my friend's store opening. It's a streetwear/sneaker store called The Reed Space and is opening in Aoyama on the 15th. come through if you're still in Tokyo, should be a blast. i'll bring a skins hat or something.
