Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
i was a big patrick ramsey fan, and when mark brunell got here i jump on his bandwagon, and I stuck with #8 even when he sucked it up 2 years ago, but now I think we should make that Bold move and get 3 time MVP Brett Favre, he can give us this year and next and that will give campbell more time to be prepared, dont get me wrong, If were going to stick it out, then lets ride #8's back, but I wouldn't object to trading for Favre right now.........

Re: Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
eBay has a bridge named after it?
Tony K seemed to think the Skins might be interested in Favre last week. I think that maybe it would have been a decent move this past offseason, but it's much too late now. Plus, he should probably retire before the season ends anyway.

Re: Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
Brunell just struggled all offseason to pick up this offense and now we want to bring in a guy to learn on the fly?
Ummm, right. Not gonna happen. |

Re: Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
What would make us interested in another QB who should have quit playing last year

Re: Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
Um ok. So far we've heard trade for Brett Favre, sign Darrell Green. I don't know about the rest of you but I think we need to get Nick Lowery and Deacon Jones on the phone right now!

Yea everyone needs to remember it's 2006. Not 1996,but 2006! These D.Green & B.Farve threads are pretty funny.

I think he got the message fella's. I'm hard pressed to imagine how that could possibly be a consideration.

Re: Brett Favre: Should We Get Him Now
Would have to learn a completely different system. He has been in a WCO for 10+ years, the move would make zero sense. The best thing the Packers could do would be to get some picks for Favre before he retires though. Really they should have traded him this offseason and see what they could get. Rodgers needs to play.
