Coaching Issue (I Hate to say it)
First of all I spent the last few months proclaiming my faith in Gibbs and telling everyone that would listen that we don't need a pro bowl quarterback in Gibbs' system.
I think part of the problem is Gibbs built the roster around his system, then he gave Saunders all the play calls. It looks like Saunders is not on the same page as Gibbs. He seems to be calling plays for a different team. A good example is that Randel EL and Lloyd were supposed take the pressure off of Moss. This only works if you have all three on the field. If Saunders is going to keep calling the plays, we need a play maker as quarterback, and that is not Brunell. If Gibbs takes the play calling over we can still use Brunell. One or the other has to change. |

Uh NOOO!!!! That's what we've been doing every freakin' year for over decade....2 games and people are conceding. I really hope you're just kidding.

Re: Coaching Issue (I Hate to say it)
Ok....I am breathing normal now, lol!! I believe if we get on a 3 or 4 game winning streak, alot of people's minds will change. In all my years as a Redskins fan, I have never seen a Joe Gibbs coached team that rolled over and died after a couple of losses....even in the few losing seasons under Gibbs. I don't expect this season to be any different.

Re: Coaching Issue (I Hate to say it)
This team starts fresh every year and thats the problem. Nothing is ever built upon. They have a nice D last year so do they resign some of the D backs and keep building? Nope they give a huge contract to Archeletta so now its more learning, rebuilding, and chemistry.
The offense finally gets going, does the team keep building on that? Nope they bring a new coach with a huge playbook and it back to the drawingboard for another offseason. Until this organization figures out you have to build upon the past and not rebuild every year they are going nowhere. |

I didnt say it was a machine and it ran out of gas but it was going in the middle of the year. My point isnt whether the O was going great guns or pop guns, my point it they didnt build on last year, they started over, AGAIN.

I agree in part because it is difficult to continue adjusting year after year, new players, new coaches and schemes. However, what I find ironic is none of us were saying these type things until we saw the team play. That old addage hindsight is 20/20 is sure applicable here. We weren't saying these things because none of us thought they would look this bad to start the season. We all had visions of a high scoring offense with points coming out of the woodwork, so far it hasn't happened, that dosen't mean however that it won't. |

OK.
Bring back Spurrier! Jeff George is sitting at home right now (the Raiders came to their senses)! Call Ricky Ervins! Where's Leslie Sheppard? Albert Connell? Skip Hicks!?!?!? |

Last year, we pretty much went with whom we had and had the best season of the seven previous. Part of me wishes we had stood pat and kept the team we had last season intact.

Re: Coaching Issue (I Hate to say it)
Which one was it Leslie Sheppard or Albert Connell, that had the sticky fingers? One of them was caught stealing out of other players lockers, like nfl players dont make enought already.

Yeah, Sheppard was the guy who was all legs, no hands. Fast but couldn't catch.
