Shockey's Post Game whining
I hope that this is a carryover from last year's playoff loss and that the VAgiants unravel and quibble and self destruct internally. Shockey's rant was beautiful and reminiscent of Tiki last year. They should be 0-3 if the Iggles could have put them away.

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
I read that article over on ESPN.com with his post game comments. He is a habitual whinning little biatch! The schedule the Gmen play will be their ultimate demise (brutal) and they might tank about mid season from the turmoil. Good for us as we traditionally make a mid to late season run and they will be out of the way.
Here is the link. ESPN.com - NFL - Shockey says Giants were 'outcoached'

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
Shockey seems to think that Eli racking up points and yardage when the Seahawks we're playing "soft" at the end with a 39 point lead was a good thing?

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
I don't think that's a good thing; the guy I'm playing in FF this week had him and he ended up with a bunch of points. F him and F Eli.

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
Here here. He's ghastly. He's convinced himself that he's a HOFer when the truth is that whatever minor success that club has had was all because of Tiki. They need to look to Tiki and Pierce to be their leaders and tell Shockey and Burress to shut the eff up. They won't though, and their season will be a roller coaster as a result. Emotionally unstable from Coughlin on down.

I hate the Giants. Maybe because three ex-Skins play for them now. I don't know, but I'm glad the Giants and LaVar have each other right now.

There's at least four, if you count the Hasselbeck with hair and a hot wife. He's the one on the sidelines with a clip board.

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
Shockey made a comment about the way he is used, saying "there's only so much I can do when I'm in there blocking half the time". What kind of tight end complains about having to block? Most tight ends in the league block 80% of the time. He's such a prima donna, bitch.

I miss Antonio though. not that Lamar hasn't been good, just that Antonio was like a little Williams on the field. really got the playbook and put everyone in the right place (cough Farce-uleta)

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
I hate Shockey but this is the second time someone on that team has basically said the same thing.
Not a good sign for a coach who has had bouts with losinghisteamitis in his career. When Shockey says it you can dismiss it. When a guy like Tiki Barber said it last year then it makes you think. I wonder if everyone buying into Coughlin's ricockulous way of coaching is more of the "well at least we're winning" type of followong rather than the "this guy can take us places" type. Looks to me like this team is on the edge and needs one or two more outings to get pushed into basic disarray. Conversely one or two outings of quality play probably puts them right back into the mix as one of the better teams in the NFC. |

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
Regardless, shockey is a terrible team player for his statements. He didn't play a perfect game, and hasn't played close to his potential the past few seasons. To question the coach in public is just bad character and the team will hurt for that.

Re: Shockey's Post Game whining
Well in that case I hate all four of them.
Funny how people harp on the Skins for overly paying FAs and bad roster moves - look at the Giants. They let Griesen (sp) go, then turn around and sign two injury prone linebackers. They have two big ass cry babies in Plax (who got benched yesterday) and Shockey. With the exception of AP, which ex-Skin do we back? Add to that, their secondary which played like swiss cheese yesterday. |
