Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
Please tell me that Rocky is going to get some playing time. Warrick Holdman has been beat so many times in coverage, its ridiculous. He missed a bunch of tackles. Last year, we were vulnerable to the big run play on his side, until he was replaced by Arrington. Get him out and put Rocky in!!

I agree totally. He was the problem last year and I think he is the problem this year. He is just not good at all. I'm glad Lemar is back in the middle. Now Holdman needs to be removed totally out of Redksins Park.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
Holdman is only one factor in a bevy of factors for this atrocious defense. If we had a defensive line worth a nickel, Holdman, Marshall and Marcus Washington would be making a hell of a lot more noise. Right now, the front four absorbs everything, never gets penetration, and when lined up against an offense committed to running the ball, they'll get run on.
Not only that, the secondary hasn't been able to cover ANYBODY yet. There are fundamental breakdowns all over this defense. Singling out Warrick Holdman is like General George Custer raising hell with a poor marksman at the Battle of Little Big Horn. Still, I also wonder what the coaches are afraid of at this point by playing Rocky Mac. |

I think you are right. They seem as if they are not happy with what they have seen. He has hardly played a down, maybe non on defense. Williams odviously will let a rookie play. Look at Golston. He let Taylor play some his first year.

When asked about the play of his linebackers GW maintained he was satisfied with their performances thus far. So to continually point out the poor play of any one particular player could be inacurate. We are at this time experiencing poor play across the board from various players at different positions. Singling out one player is not a cure for our overall ills. |

Let's just bench or cut everyone and call it a season.
There are other guys playing worse than Holdman. |

lets see if i can name them. lets start with carlos " i get burnt weekly" rogers, not to mention adam " i got way too much money" archeleta, and andre " i probably should be playing linebacker" carter. Those three right there will make you forget about warrick holdman.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
With the problems we've had on defense GW probably doesn't want to toss any more rookies or inexperienced guys in there than he has to. Holdman is a vet who's not playing all that bad, not bad enough to warrant being benched that's for sure. Why add to the problems at this point?

Rocky looks like a potential playmaker with his speed and athleticism. Perhaps GW will work him into pass defense packages as he did with Chris Clemons last season.

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
R us freakin kidding me Warrick is terrible maybe you better check your stats , he had 8 tackles in the game I believe just one behind Lemar Marshall you had 9. Many of the redskins defense missed tackles on Sunday. Also Warrick is right up there in the team ranks as far as overall tackles for the year and he does not even plays the entire game he comes out when they run that sorry ass nickle package. Warrick Holdman on defense is the least of our worries dude!

Re: Bring on Mr. McIntosh, Warrick is Terrible in Coverage
Well it's disconsurting to see another draft pick we just had to have can't beat out Warrick Holdman, whether or not Holdman is playing up to par is irrelevant, we gave up picks to get Rocky, if he is incapable of beating Holdman than there is a problem with our ability to evaluate talent.
