Arrow Tiki Barber likely to retire after the season

ESPN.com - NFL - In rush to retire? Giants' Barber 'leaning toward' it

the giants will be a lot weaker when he does, good news for the nfc east.

Re: Tiki Barber likely to retire after the season

If I were the Giants I'd fire Couglin and try to convince Tiki to stay. They all hate Couglin. That team is barely holding together. Whenever they lose someone is something bad about the coaching. He needs to get out before they self destruct. He's kinda like the Bill Callahan for them. When they win it's all good, but if they start losing, true feelings start to surface.

I've been hearing that since he's been there yet they STILL have a better record than we do over the same period (I think).

This would be pretty good for us and all, but Brandon Jacobs looks like he's no joke and he seems to hate the Skins for some reason.

He can't kill us worse than Tiki has though. He's just got the Skins number. It's crazy. He's murder whenever he plays them. He hadn't been great this year till he saw the Skins, then he got right.

To early in the year and with them having some team issues now it could all change if they have a good year.

That's what I was thinking. We could lure him out of retirement with a huge signing bonus, then have him back up Duckett...

I'd rather face Jacobs over Tiki anyday.

I agree, but that could just be because of the experience Tiki brings to the table. If Jacobs doesn't get all fat and slow he could be dangerous for years to come. (I'll send a couple of pizzas up to his house tonight)

Tiki and Rhonde went to Cave Spring HS here in Roanoke. Maybe you meant Jacobs, I don't where he went.
