Anyone know what happened to Czaban on Sportsnet?

I noticed that Steve Czaban was not on the post game show? Anyone know why?

He got suspended for asking Brunell if he (Brunell) thought since he was not playing good he should go to Gibbs and tell him to play JC.

Yesterday's post game show was terrible without Czab. I'm not a huge Czab fan but there was just no energy to yesterdays show.

I thought it was a fair question. But your correct, it was kind of dull. Comcast has no balls.

It was a stupid question. If any athlete went to his coach and told him to play the other guy, we call him a quitter. Kerry Collins did this in Carolina and he was crucified by the media. No athlete in his right mind would answer yes to that question.

In order for a particular media outlet to get results they need cooperation from the team, and if you ask stupid questions that are only a cheap attempt to provoke an angry response the team will shun you. A better question would have been" How do you rate your performance" or " Is there is reason why you are struggling such as you health" or how about "what do you think it is going to take for your play to improve in the coming games"

I used to think Czaban did some good work, but last Monday on the radio he took some cheap shots that were total bull like "The return to Camelot has failed". So even though Gibbs had had more success than any coach since himself, the whole Gibbs era is a bust, according to Czaban.

Actually his winning % is probably similar to Norv Turners right now (no i haven't checked but just going from memory). I wouldn't say Gibbs is a bust right now, just making a point that things haven't gone exactly the way JG's would like them to.

What a crock! There was nothing wrong with those questions to Brunnell. They were the questions everyone else wanted to ask but didn't have the guts to. I think it was about time someone finally called Brunnell out publicly. MB has been in a state of denial all season about his playing abilities.

And by him being around as long as he has, he knows how to stroke the media. He knows exactly what to say, and how to say it. One could definately tell by Brunell's expression, he didn't like the question, but I did.

Without question. They did the same to Czabe after he did the Joe Gibbs radio show during the 2004 season, insisting that Gibbs would only return to the show in 2005 if Czaban were replaced. He was, by Bram Weinstein. This town handles the Skins with kid gloves, with George Michael leading the way. Czabe's questions to Brunell wouldn't have been a blip on the radar in Philly or New York.

The guy is a tool anyway.

I thought it was a bit unprofessional on his part to try to ruffle Brunell's feathers. Seriously, what good does it serve?

I thought it was totally professional by Czab. Its his job to ask questions and too bad if anybody's feathers get ruffled. He asked the question everyone was thinking. To Brunell's credit his feathers didnt get ruffled and he answered the question like the pro he is.

On yesterday's show none of the guys in the studio directly asked any players questions so the show was a real yawner but hey at least none of the redskins had their delicate psyche damaged or their feathers ruffled by some mean and nasty reporter's questions.
