Who is Tony Romo?
Im sure people who watched the NFL network broadcast last night saw them pushing this "Who is Tony Homo?" program that will be aired tonight. Seriously this makes me sick, he's had a couple of good games, but I could really care less who he is. I really hate how the NFL does this, why are they pushing this guy so much. I mean im not just being a bitter skins fan, I mean come on the guy wins a couple games with loads of offensive talent around him and everyone is hanging from his nuts. I really hope he starts blowing it. Someone needs to tell the NFL network no one outside of Dallas cares. I can deal with a program about an established qb, someone who has proven he is good maybe. but come on. I don't know it just really pisses me off.

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
I dunno man, I think you're prolly just being a bit of a bitter skins fan. I don't think they make too many programs about accomlished QBs because we probably already know a lot about them. Everyone already knows pretty much most things about Brady, Favre, Manning because they had similar programs for them when they were rising stars. I think that most people, unless your a Skins fan, would probably be somewhat interested to hear the story of a guy who played at a Division IAA team and then just came on the field after four years of riding the pine and started winning games. People want to know about this guy. Does he have a lot of offensive talent around him, yes, but Bledsoe couldn't win with them, I hate to say it, but that boy can play.
PS - I hope next year Sean Taylor wipes that cookie eating grin off of Romo's goofy face permanently. |

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
yeah, he's good, throws on the run really well, but I think their O-line is their achilles. It was a makeshift unit & they're overacheiving for the most part, but we saw what the saints did to them & remember how philly played them in the first game - pressure st. up the middle. Expect to see teams throw some new blitzes at him. He'll lose the ball some.

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
Dallas is "AMERICA'S TEAM" whatever the F that means, that's why he's been in the spotlight. If we had some no name QB play like that for us, he'd be getting the same publicity and I would not be complaining. I think Romo is good, but not polished, he will go into a funk for a while and probably re-emerged as a good nfl qb in the future.

I'd rather see a program about Brees.

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
Brees is not on your team either but could have been.
#56fanatic good synopsis on Tony Romo. The guy made the Pro Bowl after 8 starts cant do much better than that. There are not many great qbs in the NFC and he is a top preformer this year and deserves it. when the season dies for the skins do you guys usually talk about cowboys? there are many threads on the boys right now. |

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
I agree, Vick deserves to get in, his team is in the hunt, he broke the single season rushing record by a qb. He deserves to go.

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
The NFL is falling heads over heels over this guy and it's a joke, like you guys said I'd rather see some stuff about Brees.
He's a Cowboy so the NFL assumes the world has a freaking hardon for the team so we get this crap shoved down our throats. |

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
The media is MORE crazy than usual his season. Somebody has a few good weeks, he's the next Elway. Maybe it's the lack of dominant teams. 2 weeks up, one week down. T. H....omo still has time to do a Rothlesberger

Re: Who is Tony Homo?
It's going to be on right before the Dallas v/s Alanta game so it would make some sense because alot of Dallas fans do not really know who he is. So I will give them a by on this one because its tied into their game.
