Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
This guy is an enormous tool. In an article on espn.com, it states:
"It now appears that Jones will pair Garrett -- whom he views as the Cowboys' head coach as soon as 2008 -- with either Turner or Phillips". What a dildo! So...you hire Garrett as an OC and then say that he'll be the HC as soon as 2008. Why would anyone want to take the Cowboys head job now for??? How friggin' moronic. Here's the link. ESPN.com - NFL - Sources: 49ers go on offensive in bid to retain Turner Jones is a freaky botox laden, pigeon eyed, frozen smiled douche chilling ass head who knows nothing about football. God I love that he runs the pukes. DALLAS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

And we think Synder can be incompetent at times. Jerry Jones is heading into Al Davis territory, some will say he's already there, which isn't a good thing, at least if you're a Cowboys fan. Fine with me though!

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
What exactly are you saying? I hate the Cowboys bad but Jerry Jones is an owner with less than 15 years in the league and he has three rings.

Jerry Jones' time with the Cowboys is a perfect "How To" and "How Not To" for other owners in the NFL. The Good: JJ hired Jimmy Johnson and let him manage the team. Johnson stocked the team with great talent and they went on to win 3 super bowls. The Bad: Once Dallas won their second SuperBowl, JJ in his ever present insecurity ran to any open microphone/Tv camera to try and take some of the credit. This pissed off Jimmy Johnson and Norv Turner and they bolted. JJ then started to micro-manage the team and they went down hill fast. The Good Again: He hired Parcells and let him manage the team. Parcells started to stock the team with good talent and got them in the playoffs two years in a row. The Bad Again: JJ couldn't leave well enough alone and forced T.O on Parcells. I really think owners like Snyder and Jones need to stay out of the day to day football related moves. While Snyder is an exceptional bussinessman, he is clearly not a football man. He has certanly proven to be not a very good talent evaluater. Frankly I am not sold on Gibss being a good GM yet, although he is doing a better job than Snyderatto/Spurrier. |

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
But based on some of the questionable moves he's made, is it now safe to say that the Cowboys won 3 championships in spite of Jerry Jones?

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
When did he win those, about a decade ago? Was it? Of course you can say the same thing about Gibbs, who last won a Super Bowl 16 years ago. The Cowboys are merely a shell of what they once were though, they haven't even won a playoff game in ten years, at least we've done a little better than that.

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
C'mon. Jimmy Johnson is the one who made it all happen. What happened after Jimmy left? He won with Barry S but that was all Jimmy's players.

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
Before we start hating J.J. look at Danny Boy, he really isn't much better.

Re: Jerry "Snare Drum Face" Jones
The difference between Danny Boy and J.J is that J.J ****s up their draft picks and Danny Boy trades them all away on friggin overhyped tools (Dwight Freeney)!
