Super Bowl Celebration
Living about an hour from Indy I am now watching them celebrate in the RCA Dome. The place is just going crazy. It just makes me dream about next year. The sad and honest truth is give them a couple of years or so when Peyton gets hurt and they start losing the place will be dead unlike good ole DC.

Re: Super Bowl Celebration
I know I mention this everytime Indy is brought up, but I lived there for 5 months and I HATE that city. Ugh, it was so boring. And the people are
a bunch of squares. And they are lousy fans. They couldn't sell out that crummy little dome there before they started competing for championships. I will concede they are great basketball fans though. I went to see the Hoosiers play Duke and it was an incredible experience. And I always got a kick out of hearing rednecks call into radio talk shows to like debate Jermaine O'Neal. But I'm sure the 40 year old ex-Bears fans are really carrying on right now at Champs grill. Have your team exist for 70 years, have your grandfather and father be as passionate about them as you are, and have them win 3 championships, then look me in the eye and talk about football Indy fan. Anyone else feel the losing is turning them into a cantankerous old man? |
