Re: F...Valentine's Day
Come on, if anything, Valentine's Day (in the words of Homer) is a "gimme". Get some boys.

Re: F...Valentine's Day
Exactly. I'm reading firstdown's post about how he spends $60.00 for VD. I think it's something that can be had for free.
Then again, what's the price of the hooker?

Re: F...Valentine's Day
I was going to start a thread today about the biggest Hallmark day of the year. Its crazy they take those dozen roses from $30.00 and today only they sell them for $90.00. Luckly my wife is not into roses and likes flowers that last a little longer. Last year I decided to buy her some roses to see if that was true or if she was just saying that. I went in to a florest about 2 weeks before VD and ask about a dozen roses and they said they would be $30.00 delivered. I then said that I want them deliverd on VD and all of a sudden the price went to $90.00. I told her what she could do with those roses and walked out. Who ever came up with VD had to be selling cards or flowers because its crazy what you can spend.
How much do you spend on VD? I'm in for about $60.00 this year. |

Re: F...Valentine's Day
proflowers.com, got 2 dozen roses delivered to my wife's office today for $60...however, she's here at home because of the weather...
and we'll go out to dinner on Saturday...on someone else's dime. Got a $100 gift certificate to The Melting Pot. We don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day...considering between now and April 1st, we have VD, Wife's Bday, my bday and our anniversary. We spend more on the other occasions than VD.

Re: F...Valentine's Day
I love my wife 365 days a year, why waste money on a wednesday because hallmark deems it that way? I'll be spending $0.00 today on overpriced flowers, candy, and stuffed animals.
Im with the movement, F VD. |
