Should I get a xbox 360?

I'm thinking about getting the 360, mainly for Gears of War. I'm on the fence, I need to be pushed over the edge. Help convince me to get a 360.

I wanted a 360 for that same reason, well for Halo as well but that Gears of War commercial just had me wanting a 360. My wife ended up getting me a Wii which is no slouch believe me. But if all you need is a "yeah I would take a 360 for Gears of War" then you've got one!

I played gears of war and didnt like it, but to each his own...

honestly the ps3 is a better value... a blue ray dvd player is 700 bucks on its own... and the built in wifi saves you 90 bucks (if you go with the xbox wireless crap they sell) pluss the memory card readers etc...



I like my 360, but I'm getting a ps3 as well... I just got it for madden and it great for that!

I just got the Wii yesterday and it's a bloody workout. I was sweating my balls off from playing Wii Sports. I vote you go get a Wii and get a workout while having fun. Checkout Target.com, they tell you if Wii is available at Target stores near you.

Personally I don't give a crap about blue-ray. I just can't justify paying $600 for the PS3 right now. Plus the PS3 doesn't have Gears.

selling your body to stockbrokers isnt called having connections.

that being said, from a pure FUN standpoint, saden is spot-on. the wii is AWESOMe. you could play wii sports for weeks and not need another single game.

Wii Sports is the SHIT !!!! The training mini games are fun, I play the bowling one where it keeps adding pins and you have to get strikes. I'm almost through with Zelda then it's on to Ultimate Alliance. I haven't played Madden on it but for about 5 min. I want Call of Duty 3 but my wife got this bundle pack for me with like 6 games so I have to play those too. Can't wait for Tiger Woods on the Wii !

I don't see how it's worth $600 from a pure gaming standpoint. There's no killer game for that system right now.

OK MOD. listen to reason now, im assuming noone hear owns both systems and I do? to get more bang for your buck og 360, the PS3 is a over glorified game, and people who on it (watch) is going to say, no its a kick ass system, but here's the thing, the 360 is rapidly putting out great games and are growing every year and there is no big. descrep. in the two, there both beautiful HD games on a 1081 HD television (which always go LCD), the PS3 didnt do shit to make there games better or different (expecially EA) but dont just take our word or mine's, go online do comparisons, and if your into games like GOW and Halo, please dont pass on the opportunity to get this system. I mean 400 bucks and paying a extra 200 cause a system has blue ray HD for movies, by the way what asshole would pay 600 dollars for a gaming system to watch DVD's (if this someone out there, oops) my PS3 is back in the box, and im getting ready to sell it? I dont need a system thats doesnt give me something more spectacular than a blue rays player, hell i have a great surround sound system...................PEACE
