Redskins turned down Al Wilson!! plus great offer
According to WashingtonPost.com
The skins would've got: Al Wilson 1st Rounder 3rd Rounder possibly 2nd Rounder broncos get 1st Rounder it says we turned it down so we could have fletcher no offense but Al Wilson is considered one of the top MLB's out their im suprised link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...030601190.html |

Re: Redskins turned down Al Wilson!! plus great offer
if we could get a mlb who already knows the system who is just as good in free agency and keep our #6 pick then why not just go that way? we did the right thing

Cause the picks would have been nice too. I think they did the wrong thing by turning that one down. Al Wilson is a monster. Also, if they were willing to give up Wilson, why don't they just send Bly over?

Re: Redskins turned down Al Wilson!! plus great offer
u dont do the deal because there is a player u can get at the same position without giving up that pick. if we want to get rid of the pick we can do so easily and im sure better offers will arrive, offers that include players that are in a position that we need that we cant get through free agency, i.e. cornerback.

Al Wilson has supposedly been mentioned in trade talks with the Panthers as well. I wonder why he's on the block

Al Wilson would've been nice but Fletcher already knows the system and fits in well.

I'm tired of dealing with Denver. Something tells me that they're going to come out with our 2008 2nd round pick if we go down that road again.

al wilson is good, but fletcher + #6 is better than wilson and #21.
the broncos are making decent offers though. |

Re: Redskins turned down Al Wilson!! plus great offer
we want dre and springs at corner next year trust me! i am telling you that it couldnt get any better than that for us...it also might give arch a chance to be more of a linebacker at safety if we have two guys who can cover the way those two do...carlos rodgers is a bust people...cant play a lick you tell me a good game he had and i will show you 5 bad ones, corners need to be consistent and he isnt.
there are so many scenarios out there but the more i look at it the more i say trade back in the draft to get more picks and or players via trade. i mean its obvious that we dont have the sack to make the 6th selection in the draft, but that might not be a bad thing all and all. |

Arch and Rodgers are in the same boat in my book, its just nobody pointed out all of rodgers mistakes cause he is young and arch had a big pay day last year. but rodgers is in the same boat as arch if you ask me.

Re: Redskins turned down Al Wilson!! plus great offer
It's funny you are ready to throw Rogers over the side. Are you one of those that think that Dockery leaving is the end of the world as well. Well let me tell you just a season a go Dockery was ready to be throw under the bus for so so play. One year later we get a big pay day and is the one of the best guardm in the league. Who kowns Rogers a year or so may be the best as well!
