To trade or not to trade?
Assuming that we keep all the players that we currently have (springs, Arch, Lloyd, ect...) Would you rather draft just the way we have it, trade down to the Texans for the number 8 slot, and get a 3rd round pick extra, or trade to Denver and get a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round pick? If I was thinking short term, I would trade to the Texans to make sure that we have a solid player at either dt, or de next year. But the real move that I would make is trade to Denver, and hope these draft picks pan out well because I feel that we will be in cap trouble in the not to distant future, and will need cheep replacements for the cap casualties of the future.

Re: To trade or not to trade?
This is a good thread, and a good idea too. However there is already a thread like this called, "If the Redskins Trade Down to the middle of the 1st round...."
You should go there. There is already some good dialouge goin over there. Check it out.

Re: To trade or not to trade?
unless calvin johnson slips to us, i would be open to all trades, none of the others are all world at their position and we have more needs than picks.if the skins are smart and frugale with the 6th sixth pick and maybe a couple of picks next year we could very easily walk away with the dt and de we need and a good young guard with a possible te or lb or even cb to add later.i'm thinking possible jared allen, for picks next year, maybe a 3rd no higher than a second. trading the 6th we get another player ala dre bly or someone we could use with other picks coming as well 2 or 3 and so on with possible trades of springs for another pick. then theres adam ant too. losts and lots of possbilities. patience and wisdom.if it's done right we could go from a d that sucked to formidable one quickly. here's hoping the skins get a few breaks
