Re: Arch traded
Nooooooo. (Cite your source). In all seriousness that sounds like good news for both parties.

Re: Arch traded
Just seen this also on NFL Total Access. I wanted to keep Arch, and see if we could work out any packages, but i'll take a 6th pick for him.

Re: Arch traded
6th is about what we should have expected for him.....
Worst FA Blunder maybe ever for the Washington Redskins, just a stupid ass signing with Sean Taylor already here. I honestly think Archuletta will be a impact player next season now that he's in Chicago.

Could be one of the worst blunders in NFL history. Right up there with Scott Mitchell to the Lions. I'd put it in the top five easy. |

It's going to be interesting to see how AA does in Chicago. He wasn't good enough to play here, but obvioisly Lovie Smith welcomes him. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Re: Arch traded
How will he all of a sudden become an impact player when he never has been? I think he'll go there and play the run more than the pass thats for sure. He can't cover. Last time I checked you don't trade impact players for 6th round draft picks.

Re: Arch traded
i agree. while i dont think A.A. was as bad a player as he showed( or didnt show) last season, he was exposed to the point that when he is now on the field, teams are going to go after him in the pass game and MAKE him cover someone

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
I think with Archuletta on his way out we should now take the time to consider Landry in the draft. I know it probably won't happen but we still have to look at our options.

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
Couldn't agree more. He'll be tough in the Bear's system and could have been better used here, which everyone in the league knows. A six round pick is nothing. We've been suckered again.

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
We got Doughty and Golston in the 6th round last year. I think they're both going to be more than solid for the Redskins in the years to come.
