2007 NFC East Predictions
Now that we know our schedule, throw up some NFC East predictions.
I'll go first, obviously. Redskins 11-5 Eagles 9-7 Cowboys 8-8 Giants 6-10 |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
I like the looks of that too
Skins, 10-6 Dallas, 9-7 Eagles, 9-7 Giants 6-10 I don't think our division is that good, but it has parity. A few injuries could be the only difference between the top 3 |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
Eagles 10-6
Cowboys 10-6 Redskins 8-8 Giants 7-9 There are reasons to be optimistic about this season (e.g., Portis-Betts, Campbell, a better D with a deeper depth chart), but Campbell is unproven, if promising, and the defense has to improve in a big way. |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
I said that there are reasons to be optimistic. I didn't say that I was incredibly optimistic. I also said that there are big question marks which loom and cannot be ignored. I could see them doing really well (10-6), but I can give them more than an 8-8 mark despite my stated reasons for optimism.

Yeah, really. For posting such ridiculous rubbish in my thread, I am going to perform a member's ban (equivalent to a citizen's arrest) and demand that you're gone as long as Chris Henry. The only thing saving the "Sheriff" from a Pacman Jones ban is that he didn't give us a losing record. I can do this because we play Tampa Bay this year. Sheriff Gonna Getcha = |

Dallas 10-6
Eagles 10-6 Giants 9-7 Redskins 8-8 Were unproved at quaterback, we can't stop the run or rush the passer. Not a formula for success in my opinion and we have not addressed these issues this offseason! |

I think this is dead on. We could go anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7. I dont see us getting anymore than 9 wins. |

Re: 2007 NFC East Predictions
You are exactly right. Its basically gonna be the same team as last year that won 6 games. Giving the skins 9 wins means they win 50% more games than last year. IMO thats about as big an improvement as can be expected.

So your predictions are that Portis, Moss, the entire secondary except Taylor and half of the rest of our D will be hurt again this year? Not likely. |

I am cautiously optimistic about our 2007 season. I don't buy into the "offiss" school that we will always suck, nor do I buy into the 13-3 crowd (most of whom predicted a 14-2 2006 campaign). |

We aren't a top team and we certainly have issues defensively, and in short yardage offense, but most of the teams we play next year are going to be worse than us and THAT is the key to being a winning team; to be the best team on the field more often than not. Not to have won last year, that's irrelivant. 5-11 doesn't mean crap anymore. I would say that 9 wins would be the expectation for this team. Any more and they are exceeding expectations, any less and they would be failing to meet them.
