ex-Redskin Kevin Mitchell R.I.P.

Larry Micheal reports on the Bram Weinstein show that Kevin Mitchell has passed away at the age of 30. I don't know the details as of yet please post any helpful links.

Man I forgot about that guy. He wore #55 right?

Wonder what the cause of death was.

well i believe he is not 30, but 36 or 37 but that is way too young to pass. he was a pretty good player too. RIP

Re: ex-Redskin Kevin Mitchell R.I.P.

RIP. Great special teams guy and always filled in well at MLB I thought. They kept trying to push him out though it seemed, with Trotter, Barrow and Pierce

Cool Re: ex-Redskin Kevin Mitchell R.I.P.

Wow...a local guy for me.

I remember him. Looks like 2001 as a 'Skin was the best year of his career, a pretty good year.

ESPN.com - NFL - Kevin Mitchell - Washington Redskins - Player Card

I still haven't seen or heard any reports though.
