Taylor Signed
George Michael just reported on NBC4 that Sean Taylor signed a 6 year deal with a 12.3 million dollar bonus.
This is awesome. Looks like he'll be in camp on time and only miss one day of passing camp. |

WooHoo! Now the team is complete. I'm just glad he got in before camp on Friday. This way he dosent fall behind at all, and he should be ready to go week one vs the Bucs. 12.3 Million isnt too bad, I actually thought it would be higher, so its good we got a lower #.

This is good news for all us Redskins fans. Except for poor CrazyCanuck who now has to go rework his salary cap spreadsheets.

12.3 is not bad. I guess the tradoff was he signs for 6 years instead of seven. Hey i'll take it. 6 years is a long time not to have to worry about are bone crusher in the back.

so awesome thats hes signed. I wonder if he will be in camp tomorrow.
Weird that he signed for less of a signing bonus then last years fifth pick. I guess because hes a safety he got less.

its cause his cap number needs to be under 2.18mill this year, so he probably got the biggest bonus possible + minimum salary, and he'll probably get the other 2-4mill as a triggered roster bonus next year or in 2006...

He had us all fooled. He takes his good ol' time in getting another agent, but who's to know they don't waste any time in getting him a very, very sweet deal with no time to spare. Brilliant!!!!

I'm really pleased about this. Not a bad contract either.
