I caught the tail end of it. All I heard was Cerrato and Jeff Moorad taking questions. Cerrato had a lot of good things to say about Taylors agent and said that the process was very smooth. The both spoke very highly of one another ( Cerrato and agent ).

Just imagine if Taylor would've picked the Postons.

Sean Taylor sounded like a true Redskin, I have to give him props.

He sounded like he just wants to come in and play some football.

When he said that Rosenhaus was not his kind of agent I wonder if he meant that Rosenhaus would probably try for a holdout or something? What do you guys think?

Does anyone believe we made the wrong pick now? This kid is a player, and he showed it by getting a deal done as fast as probably any top 10 pick in recent history from the time he signed an agent to actual contract, he didn't play games he went in and got the job done, so he can get out on that field, qudos to Sean Taylor! He will be an all time great! And Winslow is still looking for manning money.

I was admittedly one of the alarmists about the recent Taylor mishaps so I just polished off some crow for lunch.. Had it glazed with some orange sauce and some fried rice on the side, not too bad.. But seriously, the kid has a clean slate with me and I am ready to see him dominate for years to come..

Gibbs talked about what a beast he was and how when they went to see Miami players work out Portis wanted Taylor.

Talor was mature and had a nice edge when asked about him missing that rookie things. He said.."I'm not answering that. If you wanted the answer BEFORE you wrote stories you should have come and got it from the horse's mouth." lol

He wants to be the best he can be and the Redskins can make him.

Solid kid I think.

That's great to hear, Sammy - THANKS!!!! Nice to put all the premature criticism to bed. Can't wait to see him in action as a REDSKIN!!!!

I absolutley LOVED his edge. Some guys on other sites were reading inot that as a bad thing. But I dont think it is at all. Tell those reporters to stop writing that garbage and scaring the crap out of all us fans, unless they ask you first.

WAR Sean Taylor KO'ing McCardell Week One
WAR Sean Taylor Rookie of the Year
WAR Redskins 2004

i like how he said that he was watching taylors film from highschool when he was an all star half back, and how since portis wanted him to be a skin so bad he might just draft taylor and start him at hb, lol.

I had faith the Taylor situation would work itself out, but I have to admit I was concerned.

Now it's time to get down to business and see what this kid can do on the field!
