JC to sit out this week .

Quote:
Jason Campbell will sit out the Redskins' third preseason game with a knee bruise.
"[Tuesday] was my first time trying to jog and run on it, and it wasn't where I thought it would be," Campbell said. He still thinks he will return by next week
Jason Campbell : Rotoworld.com - Jason Campbell Biography from Rotoworld.com

Good,He can start in the last week against a Good D like Jags anyway since IMO the Ravens D won't be as good as before.Lets see how Collin does and if he does good like he did in the last 2 weeks than Brunell could be either traded or even Collins traded. But most likely ill believe Collins =back up

Brunell will make it. No doubt. Casey Palmer is the dude with the short straw in QB depth chart.

Come hell or highwater, there's no way Brunell's NOT gonna make it unless he gets mauled by a pack of stampeding Brunell haters.

..Which considering how people are acting around here, that might actually be possible.

If anyone watches XPlay on G4, they were laying into the Vick Situation during the reviews of Madden 08.

Talking about betting on Nintendog fights.

Was totally classic though.

I would start Collins. I would like to see how he does against the Ravens first string defense. Good luck Todd. I'm doing sarcasm in italics from now on.

Re: JC to sit out this week .

Glad to hear it. I'd rather see the backups take a beating behind that offensive line while they try to get their shit straight. Although I'd like to see JC get more reps, but the benefit of sitting him outweighs the cost in my mind.

As much as I'm routing for Brunell to be the backup, I'm thinking Collins may beat him out, but I don't think a decision will be made until after the final preseason game.

if its not 100%, he might as well not play. If he is ready to go, I'm all for him getting some reps in.

Yeah, I like the Redskins too, but I think some people spend way too much of their lives on here. Not to be judgemental though, I could be wrong.
