Yeah, here in Virginia Beach, the local broadcaster is saying weather problems in the D.C. area prevents them from airing the game.

DC has a power outage. The game will be on as soon as the power is restored.

The game is delayed then? NFL.com doesn't have it any scores or stats for the 8pm start and it is almost 9pm now.

I dont get skins on TV in carolina...I listen to triple x radio on the net and watch gamecenter stats from NFL.com.
I know its not much, but us outsiders have got to be happy with that

Unless someone has some killer site with live NFL, this is the best it gets online

get a slingbox, and if you know someone who lives in MD, hook it up to their tv connection and you can watch tv from MD over the internet.

check out - Sling Community - The Official Community for the Slingbox, placeshifting, and the expanding Sling Mediaverse.
and www.slingmedia.com

Re: Anywhere on the net to watch the game?

works great, i posted another tread with more info...and it all depends on which box you buy...for example. the slingbox tuner acts as a seperate TV, having only a coax input to the box. other models actually control the digital cable or satellite boxes, so basically it will control that box on that tv at the person's home in MD....that is the only downside.

I recommend getting the Slingbox Pro ($250) it has basically every connection you could imagine, including Coax, component for HD, AV, and Svideo. The slingmedia company may be launching a fully HD Slingbox this January, their is info on the forum page, and the FCC has approved the box, but an arrival date is currently unknown.

Totally worth it if you have atleast a cable internet connection where the slingbox is hooked up at.

Re: Anywhere on the net to watch the game?

also, i have never had a problem with getting a signal, mainly because the slingmedia company is on top of problems before you even get them, sending out firmware updates all the time.

There are other types of slingboxes out there, HAVA is another brand, Sony actually makes one, Pinnicale makes one(spelled that wrong), but out of all the reviews (check out the forums for the other brands) most people who have a slingbox, who are doing a basic set up have no problems. The other brands dont update the bug fixes as often, thus more problems.
