How Serious is the injury to Heyer
Heyer was the only bright spot with all the injuries we sustained. He was our back up left and right tackle. From what i Could see his knee just gave out. Does anyone have an update. If he is gone for the season we are in trouble. Also with all these injuries, it will be hard to reserve a roster spot for Thomas.

Re: How Serious is the injury to Heyer
I don't believe that it was his knee, but rather a groin or hamstring injury. His back leg slipped as he tried to block Kampman, and he nearly did a split - not a pretty thing for a 320 lb man. That Kampman is an absolute beast. If we had something like that at left DE, we might have the best defense in the league.

I think we're pretty close right now, honestly. I'd put up our defense right now against any team in the league and I think our D gives us a good chance to win, if the offense can contribute.

Re: How Serious is the injury to Heyer
I agree that our D is better than GBs right now, and we're getting close to the league's elite. A guy like Kampman would make the D downright scary. Our team speed at LB and in the secondary makes it difficult for even teams with good passing attacks. After seeing Dallas shredded by Brady, I really believe that the Skins D will match up better against NE.

He was holding the back of his leg when he was down on the ground, not his knee. I think it's a hammy.
