Lloyd Comments to the Junks

PFT has a short piece up about some comments Brandon Lloyd made on the Junks: (I searched for another thread and finding none decided to "run with the story")

BRANDON LLOYD SPECULATES THAT AIKMAN IS GAY

Redskins receiver Brandon Lloyd has some eye-opening comments about former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman during a Monday visit with the Sports Junkies on WJFK in D.C."I don't believe Troy Aikman anyway," Lloyd said. "He wasn't man enough to admit his personal life situation when he was a player." Pressed by the Junkies to clarify his comments, Lloyd tried to backtrack. "I'm speculating," he said, laughing, "just like he speculates."The full spot is right here.Later in the spot, Lloyd says that his former teammate, Jeff Garcia, isn't gay. When listening to Lloyd's remarks, which come at about nine minutes and seventeen minutes of the spot, further illustrate how difficult it would be for a guy who comes out of the closet to survive in the locker room.

You just can't fix stupid.

If we're just speculating, I wouldn't be surprised it B. Lloyd was gay.

Anyone who has 1 catch in 5 games isn't worth the time of day. This guy needs to just go away.

yeah i guessed he was gay in the pre-season when i heard him talk for the first time . . . it makes sense b/c a gay guy would have a hard time fitting in an NFL locker room and guess what?

He didnt fit in SF at all, none of the players liked him and while he may cheer on the sidelines during games for us he doesnt seem to have made many friends in the locker room . . .

Maybe this will give the team the ammo it needs to fine him for conduct detrimental to the team, which in turn will help recover some of the cash we've blown on this clown.

Seriously, if I was playing as outright TERRIBLY as that dude, I wouldn't be saying a DAMN THING on any radio or TV. If I *WAS* on, all I'd be doing is talking about how disappointed I was in my plan and that I couldn't wait to get another chance to do better.

Certainly not questioning the sexuality of Troy Aikman. Good lord.

It's just stupid for him to, first, go on a radio station interview and then for putting himself out there like that. I may understand that he is upset at Aikman questioning his effort.

But you can't talk shit unless you do some shit first. Put in work and then talk all the trash you want, but until then you need to keep your mouth shut.

I can't wait til this guy is wearing another uniform. I really can't wait.

I'm tired of hearing his comments and at the same time seeing zero production. Catch some balls and he can start talking.

I'm sick of hearing about Lloyd. His production/attention ratio is off the charts.

He will not be in Washington next season, and I wonder if he'll be anywhere else.

He will be in New England, or Indianapolis catching TD's, his mouth is what has kept him from endearing himself to Gibbs, I just don't think Gibbs wants anything to do with him at this point, and I wouldn't blame it all on Lloyd, I think if they focused him in the passing game he would be very productive, but I get the feeling Gibbs would rather get that production from others. I get the feeling he shot his mouth off last year about our passing game or lack there of, which probably ticked Gibbs off, so as long as you have WR's like ARL, and Moss, there's no need to throw Lloyd into the game plan, although with the lack of ability Moss has shown to catch a simple pass this season Gibbs has to be close to increasing Lloyds playing time. Mcardell is a nice addition but he's not a #2, same goes for Thrash, Lloyd is if used properly. There is I believe a real pissing match going on right now between Gibbs and Lloyd and Lloyd ain't winning that one, at least not in DC.

How much dead cap space is that guy going to cost the team next year?

Why would NE or Indy want a crappy receicer with an attitude problem?

They build their teams on undervalued talent, not overvalued crap.

LOL! Calling Lloyd overvalued crap is a compliment in my book.

Take a look, did they go after Moss? Yes! Why because when you have an offense that can utilize your talents it tends to keep players in check, there's not a whole lot to have an attitude about, funny the only thing anyone heard from Moss this season is TD.

Lloyd wasnt a lousy WR before he came to us, and he looks to be in the best shape of his life at this point. Fans just can't admit that it may not always be the player it could very well be the coaching and the players around them, or in other words the team that they are so endeared to!

You might be on to something here. I say get him in there if he can help us win. He seems to be getting open the few times they have went to him. Bottom line is we need Lloyd right now. As sorry as he is and has been we need him to produce cause we are not scoring enough points.

No way he is on NE next year. Their number one pick from last year, Chad Jackson can't even get on the field. Lloyd will be a full time rapper next year.
