AWESOME Game!
I can't remember the last time I stayed GLUED to the edge of my seat for until the final snap for Dallas/Washington game!
That was a great game. And JC was spectacular! There have been only 3 QB's to pass for excess of 300 yds against the Cowboys this season, Eli, Brady and Campbell. Not to shabby of company. Ok Sheriff Gonna Getcha! I am supposed to wear an avatar and sig for you because Dallas did not cover the spread. I await your PM. Great game and Washington will get the wild card if they play second half football like they did today. As a Cowboys fan I would LOVE to drop a "smack thread" about how we spanked you. But I simply cannot do that, nothing warrants it and that was one of the most entertaining games on this NFL season. It was a well played hard fought game! See you in the PLAYOFFS! |

It was a great game, and thank you for showing some class. It's always nice to see that from a Dallas fan.

Re: AWESOME Game!
This is what seperates the Cowboys-Redskins rivalry from teams like the Iggles, or even the Patriots. Mutual respect.
I am angry at this loss, but mostly because I know we could have won this, and feel like the team owed JC a win for the game he played. But, we had ourselves in position and that's the way it went, so I can't be too outraged.

Newman just made a decent break on the ball and moved in front. |

That being said, I think ARE just slowed down when JC didn't expect him to. It wasn't JC's fault but more of ARE just giving up. So no "ill pass" IMO. |

Gggrilliamsss isn't a miracle worker. His defense, which by all accounts needed only an injury-free offseason, an upgrade at MLB and another hard-hitting DB, is down, what, 3 starters? I don't blame them for giving up a TD or two on blown coverages. But everything we've been doing this season was about preventing big plays. Bend don't break. Etc. Then we go and do something like allow a huge 3rd down conversion when Romo gets a high snap over his head that bounces right back into his hands. We should have pounced on that and capitalized the same way we did the first time it happened, but we allowed a big play. Story of the afternoon. Blaming the guy with 17 career starts at QB for throwing a pick inside the redzone (and bear in mind, Campbell's red zone passer rating is one of the best in the league this year), especially after he just marched the team down the field in 3 minutes and scored, is just wrong. Yes, he had the chance to win it, and couldn't, I obviously understand that. What I meant by the team owed him a win is that he put the team on his back yesterday and deserved a win. He didn't get it, and that's regrettable.

Re: AWESOME Game!
As always, a class act Sandtrap.. I've never been a huge Romo beleiver but he was on target all day long.. Better shore up that defense before the playoffs though!! Great game..
PS, TO is on steroids.. Ok, probably not but I'm bitter right now..

Re: AWESOME Game!
Good game.
Refs F' us and we could not recover. WE DID have that ball we intercepteded. With that a different game Cowboy fans can brag they beat the best team they faced. Hail Skins

Re: AWESOME Game!
Why wasn't the clock being stopped on our second to last drive when we kept doing the short passes to Santana Moss in which he would catch and step out of bounds?

In addition, this is a general question but as an example, if D. Ware went offsides (like on the final drive) and there really is no play and we take the penalty, why did six second run off the clock if we took the penatly, wouldnt that mean there was no play? Again, I dont think that was the differance or anything, but you never know. Anyways, that was a hellava game. I'm really really dissapointed right now, but I cant be mad after that. They played really tough.
