Around the NFL

Anyone watching the Steelers game? Great game. They were down 22-7 and just came back to tie it.

Re: Around the NFL

JAX failed to convert on TWO xpts. Wow JAX is coming right back 20 yard completion. Good game.

Re: Around the NFL

Our playoff chances just took a nice little hit with the Saints beating the Cardinals.

Miami beat the Ravens in OT on a 64 yard TD pass.

The actual winning play was when Billick decided to go for the field goal on 1st and half a yard with 12 seconds left. He should have rammed it in...they would have easily gotten the 1/2 yard, and if not, they would have been able to spike it.

Re: Around the NFL

I really like the way Jax plays. I think JG would like for us to look alot like Jax. There two RB are some tough SOB's. Great game though. Gerrard looks pretty good too.

Re: Around the NFL

Looks like the Eagles are about to beat Dallas. Props to Westbrook for dropping at the 1 yard line rather than score a TD...that has to be one of the most intelligent and unselfish play I have seen in a long time.

I think Westbrook's move was tied directly to what happened at FedEx. He said after that game that, had he known the Redskins were going to let him score in order to get the ball back down 8 points, he would have fallen on the one. I think that experience was on his mind when he saw a wide-open ten yards in front of him. In this situation, I don't really think it was necessary. If he scored, the Eagles would have been up two scores with 2 minutes to play and no times outs. But, hey, they won, so I guess you can't argue with the strategy.
