Re: LaRon Landry's hit
That was one of the dumbest penalties i've seen. Great play, stupid mistake. I don't understand why players don't understand that it's going to be a penalty if you taunt like that. Don't get me wrong, LL played great last night, but he can't do stupid stuff like that. I'm sure he'll get a talkin to, by GW.

He has to use his head for thinking though. We can't afford those types of stupid mistakes.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
Yeah, but this wasn't a penalty for a hit, it was a penalty for stupidity.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
I think GW didn't mind if ST had a little late hit and stuff like that but taunting after the play is a little different.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
GW said in the post game presser (Comcast) that he ran out of four letter words on Landry during half-time.

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
The game highlights are on redskins.com and probably this site somewhere. That was a sweet hit, too bad his penalty cost us 3 points. In my opinion it was well worth it though. I think Sean Taylor has inspired young Laron. He is playing lights out for a rook and making some big hits too.

I like Laron and I think he's going to be probowl level, but we don't need any of that. |

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
Dumb penalty, but you still have to like his aggressive nature. He's Sean Taylor all over again in a lot of ways.
He seems like a natural at free safety too. |

Re: LaRon Landry's hit
Yup. FS allows him to utilize his 4.37 speed to build up speed and lay the wood, break up passes, etc. I believe he actually played FS in college. Granted, GW had him playing as a hybrid FS-SS earlier in the season, but seeing him as a true FS has allowed him to shine. No one will ever replace ST, but LL definitely reminds me of Sean.
