Coach Gibbs might consider extending stay.

IMO this team is the most stable we have been in many years, thanks to Coach Gibbs.

I hope he sticks around a few more years at what ever capacity he feels. He has us pointing in the right direction now, I would like to see him go out on top AGAIN, after leading us to a SUPERBOWL VICTORY.

Man, I hope he signs a 3 year extension. That would be great!! Retire at 70 like Marv Levy.

I say he should coach until he can't walk and talk anymore.

If Joe Paterno can still coach, Gibbs should hang around. You can't even understand what Paterno is trying to say when he speaks in interviews (I'm always left scratching my head), but somehow he gets it done on the field.

i hope joe goes with his heart and his soul in making the decision to extend his contract with the redskins and dan synder....

i just hope joe stays with the organization after his coaching days are over cause thats the real issue with our skins...

i,m sure joe will do it at somepoint and stay a few more years..

Joe2 will be Joe2+, will fulfill his contract, then continue on as Team Pres/GM. Possibly a variation thereof, depending what they call Vinny.
GW gets the helm

OH crap. I hope I don't start seeing "Gibbs 2.5" or "Gibbs 3.0" around here. It's so stupid.

He's not a robot who has been upgraded.

Re: Coach Gibbs might consider extending stay.

I honestly had a feeling he might stick around past his original 5 year deal. I'd like to see it happen.

I really hope you guys are kidding. Regardless of what happens this year Joe needs to go. I much as I respect him for what he has done in the past he still needs to go. Poor clock management, poor play calling, poor use of time outs and challenges that cost us timeouts have all been a problem in his four years. Look at this collectively over 4 years not just when we win a couple of games in a row.
