What Happened to Hutch, Birk, and McKinnie?
All you heard all week was how dominant Minnesota's Pro-Bowl offensive line had been all season. And let's not forget their two great defensive tackles.
Our defensive line went out and stuffed them good. I also like how Gregg Williams played Daniels and Carter on opposite ends. Brian Mitchell brought up a good point during the Comcast post game live show, how Minnesota tried to run at Andre Carter. And in doing so they moved away from their strengths. Great game planning by Gregg Williams!! |

Re: What Happened to Hutch, Birk, and McKennie?
It seemed so often that we simply stuffed their run game in the back field. Our LBs did a fantastic job of gap protection and our safeties made good tackled. Godfrey is a beast in run defense and we can see the value in our "under talented" front four. They may not pressure the QB all that great but man can they gap control and establish a line. Rarely are they just pushed around.

sometimes things like that happen when you try to be too cute as a coach. at this point in the season, just do what got you this far. great game planning by our entire coaching staff.except for the on sides kick. im like yelling that before it happened

nothing was available for their running game, most notably the middle. i think we're seeing the beginning of quite a tandem of our own- i look forward to the montgomery/golston duo in the future.

Excellent job by Williams last night, but ultimately let's tip our hats to the guys up front who controlled the line of scrimmage. They simply had no lanes to run through all night.

Eight or nine men in the box is what happened to them. Too many players to block.
