Re: Norm Chow is available
Not too suprising. They've had irreconcilable differences for a while. Interestingly enough, the same issue that was debated among fans here applied to the Titans. People felt that maybe Fisher was being too conservative and holding back Chow's offense.
If Grimm were to leave the Cardinals, you have to figure they might make a push for Chow and reunite him with Leinart. And finally, what's this I hear about Al Davis thinking of letting Lane Kiffin go?

Hey now, he can't cover up all of Young's ineptitudes.

Re: Norm Chow is available
I just read that the Cowboys are offering Garrett the same salary as the Ravens to stay as OC. The next couple of days are going to be very interesting as teams start hiring coaches.

Re: Norm Chow is available
If Saunders bolts, Chow is the man I want. Can't pin the Titans' lack of offense on Chow- look at the players at the skill positions he had (aside from Vince). With our weapons, Chow would have a field day. He's a particularly good coach with qb's- Campbell would only benefit with a guy like Chow.

Re: Norm Chow is available
I'd be shocked if the Cowboys let Garrett go without a major fight.

Re: Norm Chow is available
What would their bargaining chip be? They promised Wilson wouldn't be fired. I guess Jerry could tell him he would be the successor the following year.

Seriously, I don't think Garrett would do that and I'm sure Phillips would have a huge issue with being a lame duck coach with your pre-determined successor on staff waiting to take over the next year.

Re: Norm Chow is available
chow hasn't proven anything in the nfl.
saunders offense, with backup QB and OL was looking pretty good. I think they just need to loosen the chains on campbell like they did with collins (portis and moss HAVE to be healthy too, unless we get a guy like CJ to cover for them). |
